Doncs sí, tal dia com hui, fa un any, em vaig registrar a last.fm. Des d’aleshores ha registrat tota la música que he escoltat des del meu Amarok. En total, més de 5.700 cançons i més de 200 grups. Com a curiositat, vos deixe el top 10 d’enguay.

Digue’m maniàtic, però és curiós, si més no.

Una vegada més la gent de Google ens demostra que volen dominar el món i que ho estan aconseguint. L’última novetat és un conjunt de bots que a través del protocol de Google Talk (XMPP) tradueixen automàticament el que els dius:

Açò podria tenir una repercussió molt important al món de les comunicacions. I el millor de tot, que ho fan amb estàndards oberts, i t’animen a que programes els teus propis protocols fent servir tot el que t’ofereixen. Una vegada més em trec el barret.

So, this is it. As we say in my country, all the good things end up soon. My Erasmus semester in Sweden is coming to its end. It seems like yesterday when we were a crowd who didn’t know each other, but with great illusion to become a big family. And that’s what we became, a family. Living and meeting every day people from all around the world, making friends, some for less time, others forever.

We all will take home something that has no price. The feeling of being part of something that big, and to share this with the rest. Everyone of us will have our little place into the memories of each other. And you know that wherever you are, there will be always someone somewhere who will remember you – yeah, that was really worthy.

So the only thing left is to give the warmest farewell to all of them. I will never forget the great parties, the trips around the country, the environment,  the biking and hiking trips, the hang-over days chilling at the living room, … And of course, the extreme climbing sessions at the boulder hall. It was never too cold, too rainy or snowy to go up the Billingen biking and sweating what a deal. I want to thank everybody in the Klätterklubb for all the good moments, for their kindness, and for the craziest boulder problems that you can imagine, keep on!

And for me, the best thing, having enhanced my life knowledge. I may not be back as an expert in AI nor an excellent proficiency in English, but I’ll be back with great knowledge as a human being. Now I’m not a village-born boy any more, but a citizen from the world. And this cannot be taught at any school.

Now you have a friend, a house, and everything I can offer you, in a sunny place next to the Mediterranean sea. And like somebody said,

Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.

Sembla que la conselleria de medi ambient d’Andalusia ha emes un informe d’impacte ambiental negatiu a la proposta del telefèric Granada – Sierra Nevada. Molta gent ens alegrem d’aquesta mesura, i esperem que aquest projecte criminal no es duga a terme mai.

Ací, una de les raons que em va impulsar a vindre a Suècia.

No aliniament en temps de pau, i neutralitat en temps de guerra.

Avui hem organitzat un mini-meeting internacional a la residència. Érem sols 5 persones (tres pakistanesos, un austríac, i un valencià), però ha sigut d’allò més productiu i enriquidor.

Tot va començar per la curiositat de tastar una beguda típica del Pakistan (ara no recorde el nom), que no és més que llet, Coca-Cola, i sucre! Sí, increïble, però cert. La prohibició de begudes alcohòliques al seu país fa que l’ingeni els haja fet crear aquestes coses. I no estava mal, la veritat. És un sabor un poc extrany, perquè no te la textura de la Coca-Cola, encara que pots notar les bombolles, i com que es beu fresc, entrava prou bé.

A partir d’aleshores ens han estat explicant coses de la seua cultura, costums, tradicions, etc. El que més ens ha agradat ha sigut la part gastronòmica. Al carrer, per tot arreu, hi ha paradetes on preparen plats típics al moment, i quasi a tota hora. I molt important, al Pakistan, tots els aliments son frescs! Tot absolutament: carn, peix, verdures, fruita… I tot ben especiat amb mil espècies picants. Si mai aneu a menjar alguna cosa d’allí, demaneu expressament que NO posen espècies, perquè encara que els digues que posen molt poques, el més probable és que per al nostre paladar no siga gens assimilable.

També ens han parlat d’alguns costums, com per exemple, al mes de febrer te lloc el Basant, quan tothom puja als terrats de les seues cases i volen milotxes! Milers de milotxes, de totes formes i colors, algunes tan grans com una porteria de futbol, i el cel de la ciutat es converteix en tot un espectacle. I tothom col·labora, grans i menuts. Deu de ser realment bonic de vore.

Hi han algunes coses un poc més xocants, com que no hi ha discoteques, i als homes i les dones no els està permès ballar junts. Però ells semblen acceptar-ho de bona gana, i no s’oposen. Podríem tenir una discussió sobre si això està bé o no, però tampoc ve al cas.

I com no, el nord del país. El Karakorum, la segona cadena muntanyosa després de l’Himalaya, amb joies com el K2, el Nanga Parbat, els Ghaserburn, etc. Tot un paradís per a alguns ^_^.

Després ha arribat el torn d’Àustria (més concretament, del Tirol).  Martin ens ha estat contant algunes coses sobre les seues tradicions. Com el dia de Sant Nicolau, quan alguns es vesteixen de dimonis per tal d’espantar als dimonis de veritat, i van donant tombs pels pobles. També és una atracció turística la festa que te lloc al final de l’estiu, quan els ramaders baixen les vaques que han estat pastant pels pics durant l’estiu, i és tot un espectacle.

I finalment, alguna cosa de la millor terreta del món! En realitat no sols d’Alacant, els he parlat un poc de les festes populars: bous al carrer (i a la mar, els ha encantat!), correfocs, falles i fogueres (la de Sant Antoni a Canals, per exemple, model a NO imitar) i per a impressionar-los un poc els he posat alguns vídeos de castellers.

I tot açò amenitzat per les eines més útils hui en dia: Google i YouTube. Realment ho hem disfrutat, hem aprés moltíssim. Però sobretot, ens adonem de com de gran és el món, i la de coses que hi hauria que vore, i que quan més gent hi ha, millor! Visca la diversitat!
